I just read something about an IR-cut filter and I'm kinda confused now. I thought that normal dslr's couldn't take IR photos due to a limitation on the sensor not that there is a IR-Cut filter over the sensor :/

i believe the filter isn't 100% - you can, its just really really long exposures

I can't see how you can be killed by the voltage in your camera. Its not like there are huge capacitors in there

I don't think I'll be doing that any time soon, they had a carpet knife in the camera next to the sensor after they dismantled the entire thing...

As far as I know, voltage doesn't kill at all...

I've held onto 30,000 volt live cables around animal pens before...you get zapped, but its not deadly.

Current can kill, though...

but I'm not sure a few milliamperes are instantly deadly

Its one thing to make claims and have an opinion, but to make claims and have an extremely strong opinion, then openly state that your opinions mean nothing, but still nurture a die-hard following of fanboys...eh, that really annoys me.

Yeah, Graham Mastersmith doesn't appear to have a portfolio website or anything, but he's the other teacher. He's been a professional in the field for like 30 years, his works is amazing.

@Laura Yeah...it really depends on the artist. Some people do post-processing work horribly...some do it superbly. I don't really care if a photo is heavily processed, so long as the end result maintains aesthetic appeal, a touch of quality, and a thread of personal style.
