You miss a weekend, you miss a lot!
^Man it's been a long time since I've been able to say that, but it sure does feel good to do so!
Whatever direction RD takes, I'm glad to see it move.
@Vogel612 It would be great if @Duga would do that for us, but I get the impression that Simon is pretty well done with working on her.
14:42
@FreeMan Duga is open source, soo ....
15:02
well, there you go! ;)

Teams just said "Internal error in the And function: Canceled: Canceled." to me
File that under "things you shouldn't show to a user"
#TIL Teams is written in VB6.
Is that a common error in VB6?
It seemed like some new Microsoft nonsense to me.
@this say whaaaaaat?
No, I said that because of And function and because VB6 (well, Win98 app, I guess) are known for clear and descriptive error messages like those.
What ancient messaging app did they rename/rebrand to build Teams around?
(since we know they renamed Skype to Teams for the video conference portion)
16:35
was there even a messaging app in VB6's heyday? I think AIM & NNTP was the probably only choices back then but then again I was too busy picking my nose then.
ICQ
(which is written in C++)
but there was MSN messenger
MSN Messenger was the in house solution before M$ purchased Skype.
Skype was awesome before it was brutally murdered to construct teams from it's corpse
ah yes I forgot about ICQ
Teams was apparently an Electron App that uses Skype protocols for transport
@HackSlash goes to show that the Microsoft's old strategy of EEE is alive & well
Eastern equine encephalitis?

Hey quackers
I'm taking a look at how to organize my GitHub issues better, figured I'd use Rubberduck for inspiration...
92 labels, huh?
@SimonForsberg well, we do have a lot of issues.
and some of the labels are unused, IINM
yup, indeed you have, and yup, indeed they are
like... we have four difficulty labels that always go with an [up-for-grabs]
then there's a variety of status labels
and there's labels for each major component in RD
it's not that untypical for a large project, but I don't know how applicable it will be for you
welp... we have ~640 open enhancements and 215 open bugs
Hey @SimonForsberg! waves we were just talking about you... :)

@Vogel612 @FreeMan A tracking counter for what?
19:07
mentions of the Language Server Protocol in this chatroom
You have the possibility to add a tracking counter for basically anything you want, it's just a HTTP request away.
... that's how you implemented the minecraft counters, huh?
@Vogel612 MineSWEEPER!
Yes
2 days ago, by Vogel612
we should start tracking a counter for that, just like for AvalonMentions
2 days ago, by mansellan
so, we doing LSP?
damn, my fingers were faster than my brain there
19:08
;)
@Vogel612 My project is pretty large, although not as large as RD of course 😬 I think it could help me structure some issues better, but then again... it wouldn't help in implementing them faster probably :(
I need more developers

I can't help but feel that scripting languages seems to be deliberately unintuitive to write in.

@this is ironic because scripting languages are usually made to make automation easier for people who aren't programmers. In doing so they often make something that doesn't make sense to programmers or users.
