To be fair, $99 back then is worth what? $1000 today?

It's Friday. Hope everyone enjoys late 90's tech ads.

Need For Speed...for DOS and Windows haha

@IvenBach LOL @ "color monitor included"

$100*(1+3%)^(2020-1997) = 197.36 if rounded up.

psh... I say $1000.

Finally going through the last boxes of stuff from when me and my old man moved.
@this 11% annualized interest rate?

just make sure to not leave them out. Can't have them kicking your ass for starting another fire or whatever.
@IvenBach nods because that way I can bitch and moan about how bad inflation is.

@this Notice the orangeish hue to the photos? Yep... That's them California fires and the smoke/ash causing it.

8:31 PM
can you see fires where you are?

Huh I think I encountered this, but shrugged it off as it was around when RD would lose the attributes on rewrite.. gotta repro this.

Q: Bug with For Each enumeration on x64 Custom Classes

Cristian BuseI have found a bug in VBA a few months ago and was unable to find a decent workaround. The bug is really annoying as it kind of restricts a nice language feature. When using a Custom Collection Class it is quite common to want to have an enumerator so that the class can be used in a For Each loop...

I can't see any fires. Don't even know how close they are TBH.

@MathieuGuindon did we actually handle the loss of member attributes? I understood we only handle the module attributes.
@IvenBach I guess that's good? Still, best to treat CA as one giant tinderbox

yeah we swiftly recover them, works perfectly afaik =)

Either the Apple or El Dorado fire. Possibly Bobcat but that one's too small.

8:34 PM
just don't add IvenBach to the list, mkay?

Oooh fire.ca.gov/incidents is one I need to remember.

I read an article about how they had to airlift a bunch of stranded RV campers in one of CA lakes; the only road in/out was blocked and National Guard had to send in those huge helicopters to get 100? people.

We recover member attributes, except for one case: when the member gets renamed.
The recovery mechanic basically remembers the attributes by qualified member name.

8:56 PM
just wondering - in the case of the rename, could we recover if the line is same relative to the scope?

@M.Doerner when the user renames the member and then parses? Not 100% sure but I think that loses the attributes in vanilla-VBE too.. If it's RD doing the rename we still lose the attributes? Eh, that's what the inspection is for - when results are in the code pane we'll make it pop =) avalon++

I think there is an enhancement issue for the recovery on rename.
I never got around to actually implementing it.
When we rename ourselves, we would have to keep track of what we rename and then map and adjust the attributes.
