VBA is a horrible programming language. Microsoft themselves agree, and seem to have given up on it long ago.
But … how did it ever come to this? VBA has something no other language has: EXCEL.
Excel is a massively succesful product used by pretty much every company, every student, every professor, and even many civilians who just need a spreadsheet for personal budgetting, etc.
