@NickGammon According to arduino.cc/reference/en/language/functions/external-interrupts/…, attachInterrupt() returns nothing.

@PaulJurczak However digitalPinToInterrupt returns something, which is what I suggested you see what that something was.
If the interrupt number is not in the list for attachInterrupt (and -1 would not be) then it would do nothing.

@NickGammon Ooops, didn't notice that you meant digitalPinToInterrupt(). Will try when serial communication starts working again.
