first: Snowy is mostly being used by new users who don't have the firmest grasp of chat

second: a few users (you know who you are) have been saying... unsavory things to the bot

third: the mods have expressed concern regarding the state of this room and the discussions in it

part of this is my fault: I should've locked this room down more tightly from the start

but I have concluded that letting any rando with 20 rep use a powerful LLM for free is simply not a good idea

foolishly, I believed that the permanent nature of chat would dissuade people
