Q: Oriental HAISU - An unoriginal grid-deduction challenge

boboquackTheGreatEscaper comes up with several inventive (and original) grid-deduction genres, so I thought I'd try my hand at combining two of them. HAISU The rules are simple - draw a path from the O to the X, passing through every cell in the grid exactly once. The grid is divided into several r...

Q: Extremely 'Fair' Rip-Off Meal

My question is, how could I make the person I'm offering the origami to understand she must open up the folding? What kind of sentence could I write aside the present so s...

Ugh, I am not doing well with CCCCs right now. I have used the one above before. I did check by searching TSL for the answer (because I found the clue in an old text file and it seemed good enough that I couldn't think why I wouldn't have used it) but of course no one wrote the answer down as such. If you want to find the answer, search for "perverse" instead.
Give me a few minutes to make another one. sigh
(Also, top tip: to make it harder for this sort of mistake to happen, when you are announcing a solution to a C4, always give the answer explicitly as well as describing how the wordplay builds it up.)

Pity. I had the answer, but didn't post it, because I didn't have anything ready. Another way to avoid this kind of mistake is to delete the clue from the text file.

Ah, I should be more precise. I found a bit pile of old Vim swap files, from times when e.g. my computer had been shut down without saving files, and one of them had some clues in it. In actual long-lasting files, I do try to be explicit about what has already been used.
(I prefer not to delete things outright, either marking them used or moving them elsewhere, because if something is good enough to share with others then it's also good enough to save.)

Yes, I've got a "posted" section, where I move clues when I post them, too. But I shouldn't keep you from writing your second replacement C4 in a row ... :)

Q: Praser 5 - Help

SavidaWhat is the answer to the Griffon's riddle? So tired of beating my head against this one. I've solved the Sphinx, Unicorn, and Pegasus, but this one is killing me. I am forever on the Way, but I will never reach its end. I see the Way in three aspects. With my first eye, I see it as endless moti...
