except that name is written with -us instead of -os in english, plus i don't think the guy had influence to make any changes in greek leadership unless i've missed something really big while skimming that article

@Jafe Ah, interesting - I've been focussing on TI -> E in country names for an &lit (or short nationalities like LAT or FINN instead of the E). Nothing yet though...

@juicifer Well, I suspect this isn't it, but FORBIGER was a European, and "replacing tremendously incompetent leaders in republic" can be FOR (replacing, as "wrote his name with an X for the G") BIG (tremendously, as "think big") ER (with "incompetent" as an anagrind for leaders in REpublc).
