Ugh wtfrick... did my previous message send? I suddenly don't see it even after refreshing the page
Ok there we go... Internet hiccuping

12:28 AM
@TakingNotes well it could be "right," or "right right," or "right right right" ...

Q: Can you eat a 4-dimensional Rubik's Cube?

BassIf you follow the traditional Rubik's cube eating conventions, Start by eating any piece except the central one Next, eat a piece orthogonally adjacent to the previously eaten piece (repeat) The last piece to get eaten in this way must be the centre piece can you eat all the 81 pieces of a 3x3x...

2:30 AM
Sounds so absurd out of context

2:49 AM
a puzzle maker once tried to confuse me... i ate his 4-dimensional rubik's cube with some fava beans and a nice chianti

3:49 AM
the word right has way too many synonyms

4:30 AM
right could be the definition of FACTUAL, with ACTUAL (right) at the end... but i don't see how the other three rights could make the F

yeah three rights would make a left

"right right" could maybe indicate moving an R to the right in a word
obviously right can be abbreviated R or RT and "right right" can be the rightmost letter of "right", i.e. T
CORRECT seems slightly promising since it means right and contains an R for "right" and RECTO means right except you'd have to somehow get the rightmost letter right out

@Jafe I've been tinkering with "correct" as well but I can't make it work either

@TakingNotes Watch this be legit with the definition being "?" /j

I'm struggling to make TOTALLY work, since an ALLY is always "right?" (That's the question mark dealt with), but how does "right right right" make OT?
Maybe because occupational therapy is for human rights?
(I'm forcing this to work, it has to)
Unless this is somehow a ddef

You'll never guess what the definition is...
Oh, and by right right right, I mean just right, since "Right right" is obviously the starting T
Just gonna take a stab (though I don't feel confident)
@TakingNotes (T)OT(ALLY)

TOTALLY is incorrect I'm afraid.
I don't think having "the question mark dealt with" just means come up with a word loosely related to the subject...

Yeah, that was weak sauce too...

12:19 PM
Again, what's better than being a winner or loser?: Finder!

12:51 PM
bene + fit would kind of work if there were less rights :)

maybe we can ask the mods to take away some of our rights, then it'd be a perfect fit

the problem i'm worried about with this clue is that people are gonna find perfectly valid solutions that aren't the ones i have given how open to interpretation the clue is
and the various definitions of right

1:19 PM
"Steve Kerr breaks down Warriors' disastrous final sequence in loss to Jazz" ... Yahoo Sports posts yet another article I could (partially) place in a cryptic clue

1 hour later…
2:47 PM
@TakingNotes I wouldn't worry too much. I think people are far more likely to find perfectly INvalid solutions, and then eventually when someone gets it we'll all go "Oh, yes, of course...!"

@oAlt , my home team. While at it, i must say that English is the wackiest language ever. Confluenced illiterally from every other wacky language.
Signed, editor.

@oAlt whoever writes about the warriors for yahoo must secretly be a cryptics fan

Q: In logic puzzles, can I rely on "or" to mean "exclusive or"?

rhainingIs there a common rule for logic puzzles on whether the word "or" should be treated as inclusive or exclusive? In computers, "or" is always inclusive. In common speech, it seems most common for "or" to be exclusive. (E.g. "you can have the fruit or the cake" means "one not both".) Logic puzzl...
