Q: Would it be better to break the Grand Grid puzzles into multiple questions?

Joshua BizleyThe first one was put into a single question because all the component challenges are related and are all required to solve it. But is it better to divide them up? Note that the first one was easier and smaller than the ones I have planned; eventually there are 10+ per grid puzzle. If I divided t...

Q: The Grand Grid II

Joshua BizleyHave a look at the first Grand Grid to get an idea of the basic concept Each Grand Grid involves you discovering clues that allow you to solve a logic grid puzzle. The second in this series will be just like the first, except not at all, because this time the clues are entirely obscured in the R...

@MOehm not at all
@GarethMcCaughan Almost certainly not it, but here's my attempt: INDIC is apparently a creature from Magic: The Gathering and may, for all I know, be an absurd one. VATE is an unusual spelling of Vata, a Zoroastrian god. Hence VINDICATE, to second.
My other line of thought was Second god = LOGOS or SON containing some synonym of 'absurd' to yield a mythological creature, but I couldn't find an appropriate synonym of 'absurd' and creature.

Q: What is a Mattering Word™?

Cloudy7I apologize if this puzzle has already been posed before. I've looked through the Puzzling archives and haven't found anything like it, so... here goes. Here are some examples of words I call Mattering Words™, and those that I do not call Mattering Words™. The Mattering Words™ I give are not the...

@msh210 VINDICATE is not the answer, nor would I use "second" as a definition for "vindicate" -- to me it indicates a rather weaker sort of support than outright vindication. I also wouldn't use "second god" to mean what Christians call "the second person of the trinity", who in Christian theology isn't a separate god.
