boboquackA few days ago I picked up a solved Rubik's Cube that I had abandoned due to forgetting how to solve it, and started turning the faces to make nice patterns. A few minutes later, I'd made one - each face contained a P-pentomino in one colour and an L-tetromino in another: i.e. it looked like a ro...

It's been nearly a week. Time for a hint for the C4?

12:57 PM
@GarethMcCaughan is it bigger than a breadbox?

it's up to you. i was going to look at it again today, and I've put maybe 2-3 hours into it in total. Of course, it's more fun solving them without hints
if you're on the fence, maybe provide a hint this evening?

I'm not so much on the fence as entirely indifferent: I'll do whatever The People want me to do. (Er, within reason.) If you're enjoying thinking about it hintless then I'll leave it hintless -- unless I hear from other people with different preferences, of course.

For what it's worth, I've also looked at the C4 a bit, and I'm not going anywhere with it. "Keep (sth/oneself) out of the way" could be the def, as Eric suggested, but it could well be anything else: "keep" (and the last C4 was "fortify" and Gareth likes to build follow-up clues, so something fort-y, keep-y might cone in here), or "keep out" or maybe even "losing head".
