[Once again, this can happen an idle chat room . . .]
Hello again! Half back from technical difficulties, no relation:
Musical background (re)presented:
Yes, the stereo (and electricity) is on again. Anyone who wants, or dares, musical review please annoy my neighbrs with another link.
Another link:
While at it, anyone know whence this? Someone sent it right up my alley:
... for amusing diversion:
To quote, "please annoy my neighbrs with another [loud] link."
Such as:
No takers yet? Don't make me reach . . .
No such luck? Nature abhors a vacuum . . .
^ can you believe that's just two earthlings? Motivated by many others, of course.
... while looking up something else ...
(whaoh!, the neighbrs were just about to call the cops when "net neutrality" got clipped! No mas musica?!?!?!?!?)
(Really, the youtube connection just dropped. Hopefully that's local.)
Ping?
... all better ... see what happens next time . . . . . . . . .
(I'd rather have another visit by authorities than warm up under a nationwide blanket.)
Did I ever mention when I got to DJ a radio station for 6 hours because my friend passed out? You don't want to hear about it.
Then again, if you're annoying your neighbrs, they're hearing about it again and now.
I was on the air for 1/4 of a day and nobody called to ask me for help with homework.
Which I would have given at half volume.
Actually, one listener did call and got more than exactly what they asked for.
[as soon as anyone else says something topical here I'll stifle]
(To me, every aspect of life is puzzling. Even the feral cat treads on the latest crossword puzzle when I'm making the thinker pose on the can.)
(It can happen.)
Just move ahead to 2:16 if you want to hear a wondrous upside-down bell-ringer. Best part begins at 3:01:

(Again, from a repentant puzzle book thief (last one almost half a century ago), all I ever wanted was loud music:)
By the way, if you don't already know, playing jazz is so much like a puzzle. The rules are laid out at the top left corner.
After that there are a few places where everyone has to agree.
Between those places, nothing but surprises.
And it all works out.

Only passing, but I see you're in a musical mood @humn, so I'll at least drop a contribution on my way through...

Thank you @Alconja. Others have told me to check out Porcupine Tree without such an appropriate link. I hear you.

The others were right :)

Then my work here is complete. Have a good weekend. :)

Grace!
Grates!
^ that means more than one thank-you, regardless of what it looks like
Wow, can't believe that didn't burn my speakers. Maybe with a little more twist.
Every piece of music, like every interpersonal gift, is a puzzle to be recognized even before solving, be so lucky.
The puzzle before the puzzle is to have a glimmer of the puzzle presented.
^ that was for you, @Rubio
^ in honor of who does. No need to reply, sorry about the @
By the way, the only reason instrumentalists like to play with me is because I'll play with every instrument . . . when everyone's ready . . . and that's ambiguous ever so intentionally . . . let's play!
(And, yeh, I play almost every instrument, and it ain't easy but the trick is to make it look easy, because the result is worth it.)
(Actually, the trick is to channel others who make it look easy.)
Please disregard the clothings of the time:
(I still live for the time when that message is obsolete. But it really produced some sweet melodies.)
Think this is going in circles:

(that's why I always say "drive safely")
(Perhaps a little more candid than necessary, but suitably veiled. I assume that everyone here wakes up in a world that wasn't brochured. Almost every day I do and embrace what's here. While knowing how to mask it myriad, without alterants. Word to the wise.)

Hi @Humn, not much traffic here today. Everybody online shopping or queing at shops ;c)
I'm browisng in shortly only myself. Having an online meeting soon.

Hello @BmyGuest!
No need to reply, but thank you for doing so already.

I haven't been in and out of Puzzling for a few months now (just once or twice), did I miss any major highlights? (Community-wise)
(Or puzzles. Kind of sad the "best-of" didn't give me a quick go about ;c))

Same here.

8:01 AM
Ah. Also, I think my last puzzle was drowned by the ThanksGiving time :c( :c( Not much feedback whatsoever.

Missed it! FFFFFFFFFFF!

Q: These alien safes have no end

BmyGuest Well, I could solve the last safe, but what did it buy me? Just another instant-teleport and boom... here I am again! In a single room with very few things around me, most notably a safe, and no door out. Just great. Somehow I can't fight the feeling that I'm tested in a more and more chall...

Mmmmmm!

Took me ages to get the images together. As usual when I want to do it in 3D.

Oyoyoyoyoyoyoyoyoyoyoyoyoyoyoy.
oyoyoyoyoyoyoyoyoyy!
You create a mysterious feel that draws everyone in.

8:05 AM
The puzzle itself isn't that hard/complicated in terms of complexity, but I do think it requires a fair amount of brain-power and isn't a 5-min sover neither.

(You create much more than that too)

Thanks for the roses.
Liked your last rebus. Really nice find.
Ah, my computer has finished compling code. Need to go and prepare the meeting now. Will check in later again, if I find the time.

Nice drop!
Or was it . . .
(the misspellings make the well-turned recording all the more worthwhile)

(I probably need to work on a puzzle soon. I have one on the back burner for ages.)

Any hint? It must be sizzling.
(Same here. Too hot to touch at the moment.)

Sid
@humn the weather is cold. I don't like it
And @wen probably a hInt for your C4?

It was below freezing here too.

Sid
8:25 AM
Well, it's not that cold. Might be below 15 though (in centigrade for all you Americans. :P)

@Sid , I don't want you to meet my intendeds!
You are always a step ahead. Enjoy the ride.
^that had nothing to do with puzzling. Back to the regular program.
I told my father (who never learned English but does crosswords every day) that the feral cat lays over the puzzle of the day whenever I stoop to you-know,
So the ding (my father) said that the dang (that feral cat) was just trying to help me with "backyard howler."
I'll never be the same.
Someone please (!) put up a video that would embarrass you as much as the above. Now the neighbrs are calling to evince the silence.
"Evince" was for you, @Gareth.
Gareth understands my every move before the fact.
Just makes it more fun.
Someone asked me about "intuition" and it took a few questions to know what that meant.
Turned out that it meant: "how do you know what to do when you don't know what to do?"
(I answered many other ways, because "intuition" is a loaded word.)
This is why my favorite tag is
And that brings up the topic of aconcrete tags. Is that why god created hashtags?
By now, perhaps a decade or two late, it seems that so-called hashtags are approbrium to whatever should be recognized.
So now everyone who hashes is an archivist.
Let's go. Let it go. It's about time!
Sedeleriously, the thumbprints are apparent.
Hello, present (what used to be the future).
One challenge is to winnow all this grain from the chaff.
(Another apology for naughty language. I hope for the best.)
(And do believe that puzzle-solvers among us can: first, figure out the solution; second, get it through our thick skulls)

9:18 AM
Darlings, I recycled almost half of my books. Would you believe it, many of them were stolen, some duplicate, from various public libraries, so long ago. Now they're online and we should put up their links. Hurray!
The best is titled Posers and it had a backup, but my lame internet connection itsn't backing that up with details right now.
But the youtubes keep toting. What and for how long?

Q: It protects you

KrimiYou can touch it. You can feel it. You can smell it. It protects you

^ Yah, you cool.
That brings up another topic. How to respond to what we've seen again over and yet don't understand?
Sometimes I pretend to understand, knowing that I will eventually,
Sometimes I understand that it's not understandable, and search for words to convey as much.
Get it? It all depends on who shared their conundrum with us.
And how they shared it.
^That makes no sense!
^But here I am to type before the next dropout. It's just not fair.
Darlings! We could make music. Or some kind of trellis for it. As daunting as it sounds (!) it's nonetheless a combination of movement and harmony.
It's a puzzle that reaches our souls, as does any puzzle. See what I mean?
One challenge is to get dinger-doers to lift up their heels. That's an easy one -- they want to!
Another challnge is to click a rhyme on time. Not so easy, but it's been solved again and again and again.
It's kinda like a recipe.
Put in some ingredients and stir it up!
(Just for the record, I've stirred it up so many times before that the present is, well, ever present.)
Nobody else ready to bare their puzzled souls now and forever forgotten?
My loudspeakers are heating the room.
My loudmouth is asking for more.
My openears are begging.
My resignation is okay without.
Random musing: I don't have earbugs/earplugs, though I've made love to one with them. She said to not worry. I said the same. The love was intense, and tomorrow it might be again, but the difference was immaterial.
^that's a poem
It can happen.
^ that's what bubbles up when nother else does ^
The person who loves me most (outside immediate family) keeps getting random messages saying "I don't want to talk with you" or to that effect.
She knows exactly what that doesn't mean.
She's so tough.
This is what happens in a vacucucucucuhat.
And she beats me at every card game we've played.
(And I make sure it works out that way fhe few times it mightn't.)
What delight! Nobody is stepping on this puzzled web! My turn.
But I wish you would.
Don't make me go starlight.
That's longer than anyone should endure, and more beautiful than anyone deserves.

"How many mysteries do we achieve each day" . . . signed, an incorrigible puzzleer
@Mithrandir, I thought you'd strike an inspirational chord.
Again, though, no need to be on call! See you next time.
(ahhhhhh, duplicate deleted)

I would, but I'm kind of busy right now. Sorry.

Thanks for that much. More power to you. @Mithrandir
Many edits missed. More power to you, @Mithrandir, you are a true protagonist!
Come to think of it, what is the name for someone who creates agony without being for or against?
Like a scratch without purpose.
That's me.
But without harm too, just someone on the surface.
An apparation?
Certainly chimeric. Might not be back. Here now, though.
Think I'll change mynym to "no reply necessary"
Because, well, the nym would say it all

Whoever you are, do yourself a favor and start at 10:00whatever:
Many critics were turned off to that because their ears were already full. It was the 70s.
My ears then, as now, say the more the merrier!
... now I'm listening to my ears? Next I'll be smelling my nose. Life can be wonderful.

Please share anything likewise:
I almost slept there while a storm brewed upstream. Life ain't fair.
By that I mean that it was beautiful. While, simultaneously, another more-than-beloved gasped her last.
Life can be so beautiful and so unfair.
Figure that out, fellow puzzlers!

Q: Split into two equal quantities

ibrahim mahrirYou have a container of a capacity of 12L filled with water. Your task is to split that quantity (12L) of water into two equal quantities (6L) using only two additional containers: one of a capacity of 7L and another of a capacity of 4L. How would you acheive that?

Steve Howe is the greatest guitarist. Yes I've heard others. While looking for proof, enjoy this:
Listen closely beginning at ~1:03.0000. I broke into many concerts and out of some jails before being treated to all these notes live.
I also broke into tears.
Really, nobody else on these airwaves right now? Don't make me break out Eno.

I tried that too, @John Dvorak. Worked out better, now that you mention it.
Having all these clips available online makes me feel like I jumped another fence.

So I did.

Here to tell. Don't try this at home.
(But now that you know, goad me into the next misadventure.)
