@Mast Yes, it's not a good question currently (nor the answers, frankly), but it is an on-topic question that I imagine would be edited into the better version of itself on a site that cared about such questions
There is at least one solid language-design question in there, and maybe one about prevalence too
I do have concerns that this site will be a trap for drive-by ill-conceived validate-my-annoyance rants, though, so there will need to be careful curation

Rust has postfix ? operator for monadic extraction; my new language should have that too. As an addition, my new language is gonna have postfix ! operator for monadic encapsulation.

it does kinda suck that rust only has ? for errors/failure instead of making it a general monad thing
but i guess it might also be too implicitly powerful otherwise :P
