@daniel.nuemann It would be interesting if you can answer what is the relation between ozone depletion and stratospheric polar vortex
According to this image ozone is increasing in the north pole. But the stratospheric polar vortex has been up and down the poles in that period.
Right now there is a cold wave over USA - ozonewatch.gsfc.nasa.gov/Scripts/…
so you can see the ozone concentration very high over Northern USA.
