as for the character and / or it being MLP, nothing really comes to mind other than that odd "what level of technology do they really have" I got in the series from seeing rural setting and then a modern looking Arcade game house with even a "Dance Revolution" replica.

seems to use a lot of gray shades, so also "cement", loneliness of a future where people are "connected" over wifi but distant.

To be fair, I didn't think much about MLP.

I mean, I don't know the rest of the context but that image relates to MLP in certain ways but I don't know what ways they mean it being similar to your settings relating to the real world XD

it's more technologically advanced than MLP's setting usually is (or at least in the show I watched which was only FIM)

that's not exactly normal even with magic being common

also I am not sure what it is but something fell over and broke behind or in front of her I would guess

all in all it's definitely perfectly possible to relate it to MLP FIM but the art style is different and things are going on that probably wouldn't happen in the show for sure

@trogdor For a while one of my gaming groups wanted to gift me a hazard symbol to glue onto my two-litre vacuum flask 'next week we meet', but that didn't happen because the campaign ended up fizzling soon. I know one user (not here) who had biohazard symbols on food packages.

anyway, my overall assessment is, the image is very much something you can tie back to MLP FIM, but it's also decidedly obvious that it isn't set in the same exact universe either

there's a different tech level and blood rain that wouldn't normally happen

otherwise it's hard to make any definitive statement
