Now I am really curious to see the other two crossover sets. The Power Rangers one will probably be as bad, but the Transformers one could really cross in the "so bad it is actually good" territory

BTW, even if you like the G1 style.... no Proton Pack

Power Ranger, they can just paint the whole pony red and claim it is the Red Ranger.

I want to see what they can come up with for an Optimus Prime figure.

It's almost as bad as the blind bag figures sets. They basically used only 5-6 different molds shapes for every character, so every figure is just a recolor.

Best part when they announced an "Halloween" set with ponies wearing costumes. And then, they just painted the costume on the figure.

Also pretty famous for reusing Dash mold for most of the pegasi, so Fluttershy almost always end up like this:

even after they "fixed" the design and made a specific mold just for her, newer sets keep switching back to the old, wrong mold at random.

(ps: no, I don't buy the blind bag sets. I just kinda like ranting about them ^_^ )

That said, I would love some fake concept arts of other figure makers doing the same "mold swapping" trick.

could you just imagine Square announcing a Aerith action figure that is a Tifa recolor? :P
