Also, (not my screen) many users noticed there is now some additional space in the space stations vendor area.
not really sure this means anything

@Derpy What's the game? The graphics remind me of Deus Ex 2 for some reason, but the only persistent game with walking on space stations I know is EvE.

@vicky_molokh-unsilenceMonica See above, No Man's Sky.

Ah, it's a continuation of an earlier mention.

yep. Also if by persistent you mean "online only mmorpg style", No Man's Sky is an offline game with some online features.

@Derpy More or less yeah. Persistent in the sense that a given space station (where one walks) is a place one returns to repeatedly on a per-need basis, and it largely stays both the same and relatively safe.

To be fair, there is a single station in every system you can visit. The shape as seen from the space changes (some are a prism, some spherical, some shaped like a cube...) but inside they are mostly identical.
Would be nice if there was some diversity in the inner layout too, but in a way I don't mind since it is mostly a "vendor" area and having a fixed placement kinda saves you time.

Oh wait, another one I remember would be Mass Effect, but its Citadel is to a large extent a vendor-and-quest area that gets visited at semi-set points in the story, and doesn't stay quite the same as the game progresses.

But now I'm thinking that the whole 'persistent' thing was a jump to an assumption only loosely influenced by the wording of the screenshot comment.
