Hi.
Just dropping by to link a question some may find interesting.

Q: Looking for the title of a folklore which was about moon princess being jealous of her sister sun princess

JudyI read this short story back in middle school during my literature class when we were studying about folklore. It was about a moon princess being jealous of her sister sun princess so much that she adorned herself in jewels enough to make the night disappear just so she can shine like her sister....

huh that sounds familliar somehow
that was exactly why I added the link
for some reason I though someone here may recognize the story.
not with those details though, and I can't put my finger on why or where I heard it or any of that
oh, well, people on the Tavern chat board are currently arguing over some chat kicks given to an user who dared to post a single "RP"(as they defined it) chat message.
so, until they stop posting hundreds of "noise messages" just to discuss if they did right to kick someone for posting just one....
I'm hiding here

lol
anyway, it could be I heard and or read any number of moon and sun stories that that just reminds me of any or all of them in a general way

@trogdor well, It's a weird day.
Also consider that I am currently listening to a "The night begin to shine" loop.
My mental condition right now is worse than Cyborg.
I assume you mean Cyborg in the recent ish DC movies?
I have not seen any of those except Wonder Woman
@trogdor ok. First, let me say I'm sorry for the effects my reply will have
Short story.
There is an episode in Teen Titans Go.
One that should never be named.
The ancients called it 40% 40% 20%
It features Cyborg who is obsessed with a song called "The night begins to shine"
That song probably is actually the cursed spawn of some eldritch abomination forgotten god of chaos
and it is played constantly during the episode.
turning it into the mother of all ear worms
The episode, due to its particular art style became soon a meme.
what I didn't know is that the meme had came far after that original single episode
and now is well over eight thousand...
It became a FOUR part special episode

wow
I have, unfortunately, watched a handful of Teen Titans Go episodes
This clip - which is taken just from the ORIGINAL episode don't even start to give an idea of the craziness it reached
It is 80' Retroview style at its finest
and obviously... now it's stuck in my head too.
i'm going to avoid clicking that so as to not also fall victim
@doppelgreener depends... Ever played Robot Unicorn Attack?
nope
oh wait, i did, years ago
@doppelgreener same style.

@Derpy I think I would prefer just to listen to that again rather than introduce myself to an entirely different strain XD
and I don't honestly want to listen to that again, it's just a comparison
@trogdor The night begins to shine / the night begins to shine.....

@V2Blast Can you take a look at this rollback in the light of this meta and either chime in on the meta or start a new one? I think it'd be good to discuss editing a bit further.
@nitsua60: I mean, I think my edit pretty clearly falls under the description in @mxyzplk's answer to that meta: "In general your edits shouldn't change the nature of the answer - if you're changing a yes to a no, that's bad. But adding citations, etc., even extensively, doesn't do that." All I did was edit in the reference that the answerer mentioned but never bothered to correct or actually quote.
I just provided the quote that the actual answer relies on as support for its claims (which I didn't edit at all)

@V2Blast I think that what mxy's saying there is like if you added "(SCAG p.123)" after their statement, not putting in the blockquotes. I'm into the getting-kids-to-bed part of my evening--back in a few hours.

Frankly, I think it's such an uncontroversial edit that I don't think it's worth the effort (to me) to bring it up in meta. You or someone else can do so if you'd like.
