@GregBurghardt I want to again say how grateful I am that you keep engaging in conversation. I appreciate it. It seems to me the vast majority of questions on this forum in recent times has negative votes or 0 votes. This makes me wonder if I'm not the only one who's confused about what a good on-topic question looks like in this forum? Do you have a list of questions you consider great on-topic questions?

@Michael Unfortunately down-votes are common. This community has struggled for years to define itself. In the last several years, "good on-topic" questions tend to be very small in scope. I don't have a canonical list of good questions. I would say the best you can get is "highest voted questions within the past 3 years that have not been closed." And even then, you'll find some questions that would be closed today even though they were asked only a year ago.

@GregBurghardt Ah, this makes sense. The community hasn't fully reached consensus in its scope, thus there may be various different preferences. This makes sense to me. It would still be helpful for me if you could link me to one or two questions you consider to be very much on-topic? Or if you have a sense of the different fractions and opinions? Right now, this community stimulates a lot of confusion for me.
