I have an elementary 2-category question, which might be hard to answer in here considering the graphical restraints...

Here are some my attempts to get one diagram from the above article.
a \ar[r] \ar[d]  & b \ar[r] \ar[d] \ar@{=>}[ld] & c \ar[d] \ar@{=>}[ld] \\
d \ar[r] & e \ar[r] & f
a \ar[r] \ar[d]  & b \ar[r] \ar[d] \ar@{}[ld]|{\swarrow} & c \ar[d] \ar@{}[ld]|{\swarrow} \\
d \ar[r] & e \ar[r] & f
This is the closest I can get with my limit xypic capabilities.
It seems that presheaf supports also somewhat limited drawing of 2-cells:

$X^\ast=Y^\ast$
$A^{\ast T}=A^{T \ast}$.
Since $A^{T}=A^{T}$ does not work with ChatJax.
$A^{*T}=A^{T*}$ and $A^{\ast T}=A^{T \ast}$
$A^{T}=A^{T}$ and $A^{\ast T}=A^{T \ast}$
$A^{T}=A^{T}$
and $A^{\ast T}=A^{T \ast}$
I have tested this after seeing something similar in another chatroom.
