As promised, here begins our coverage of the Star Trek 50th Anniversary Celebration in Las Vegas!

Preparing properly for Day 1 of the convention involved pre-registration on Tuesday the 2nd — long queues dominate the event, of course — and then a mandatory evening visit to preview the Vendors’ Area. Although the convention hadn’t officially begun, Garrett Wang (Harry Kim, Voy) was already in the Vendors’ Area manning his own table. @Praxis Everything looked good except I added a <more> tag just before the day 1 roundup. This creates a preview on the main blog page, so your full length doesn't appear and push other stories way down the page.
@Rincewind I schedule your latest article for August 17th. I made a number of spelling and grammatical corrections.

@JackBNimble Thanks Jack... :) The 17th sounds great! Thanks for fixing those mistakes too. It is hard to see all of you own mistakes in your writing... actually impossible as your brain corrects it and it know what you mean!! So you are "blind" to them...
