using horribly bad grammar of course
and I don't know why he thought asking the roads themselves was a good idea either
becaue they're roads
they ain't gonna tell you anything
because they can't speak
and I don't mean metaphorically i mean how can they answer you when you ask them a literal question?
00:59
Man it's strange seeing people at uni having the same followers as I do on github
even more so because my uni github account is completely separate to my personal github account
I was looking at public github repos of how other people did assignments from previous years to get an idea of how to get a start (spoiler: i think there must have been a different spec) and saw that someone is followed by one of the people following me
@RydwolfPrograms lmao what
9 hours ago, by Unrelated String
ahaha they even work in haskell
...okay it looks like haskell actually goes way further with this
it's not just a weird edge case of destructuring/pattern matching
you can literally just put anything with the same type on the lhs
which i guess is probably still for consistency with pattern matching in cases where it's supposed to be able to fail at runtime :P
02:18
I shared my 3-way USB charger to the next people, and they refused it. Weird.

The Korean thanksgiving starts today and holds for 3 days.
Being consecutive with Heaven Opening Day, that's 6 holidays in a row.

...the so blog sidebar thing has always been pretty questionable but it's still hard to believe they would actually advertise πŸ”₯mπŸ”₯oπŸ”₯jπŸ”₯oπŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ’―πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯
the worst part is that it's not even sponsored

11:48
@lyxal good times lol
maybe I should revisit Schrödinger's Uno
12:14
how tf is there a terminal spinner module for every single programming language except JRE ones
@lyxal please tell me you have something
what's a terminal spinner module
program that displays a little spinny thingy in the terminal
lemme find an example
@lyxal need to print this out and smuggle it in an uno deck
uhh why is nothing coming up for it ?!
12:26
@lyxal right???
smh can't believe I might have to roll my own
*spin your own

13:21
I did it
do I want to know what "it" is
Anything but a backpack day
oh
OH
I remember you mentioning that lmao
The best part about it is that I can speed through the halls
Gonna try to find one of my friends and get them to sit in the basket lol
zoomin around with the boys
14:08
My freshman year of HS one of the seniors brought a kayak
Did they kayak around on the floors or just be boring and carry it
Friction would be a problem but you could lube it up and leave a snail trail ig
they just carried it, which made the 180-degree turns on the stairs fun

TIL that using the Windows logo on a keyboard without permission is allowed
17:03
me omw to make a keyboard where every key is just the Windows logo

2 hours later…
18:33
@Ginger I shall challenge myself to type on that (if it's a virtual keyboard)
19:18
teach me some rust
19:31
hmmmm
19:49
@Ginger holy hell ben 11 comin out soon?
i just found a youtube short and holy hell it's the crying child from fnaf 4
i found bubbler right there
also did you know that the font changed: code
not on chaat
but on se it did
20:19
@Joao-3 haha yeah bubbler is like the martin ender of challenges
oh wow neil has posted 5k+ answers
@mathscat nah more like the justin y of code golf
ü
@Joao-3 You can store references in structs by giving the struct a lifetime
okay?
example?
Not sure I've never found a use for it
ah ok
20:29
But that's all the Rust I'm giving you today unless you pay for Rydwolf Premiumβ„’
ok ill pay 1 rep point
Do you have monopoly money?
Well that's the only form of payment I take, sorry
i only have Banco Imobiliário money
... well then, i'll make a struct here: struct MonopolyMoney{money:i64}
20:44
they WHAT
> In October 2020, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (N.Y.) played the video game β€œAmong Us” on Twitch along with a cadre of streamers
smh can't believe I missed that
@RydwolfPrograms not sure if selling states avenue is worth rydwolf premium
do i get discount??
21:01
@mathscat Yes. You only need to pay me one Monopoly money.
@RydwolfPrograms ooh, I can do that!
what's your mailing address
@RydwolfPrograms ok, then joao003.monopolyMoney.money -= 1
did i get Rydwolf Premium
Wait
You must read carefully
???
There is a critical distinction between "one Monopoly money" and "one dollar of Monopoly money"
Consider: If I ask for "a water" or "a chocolate milk", I'm not asking for one dollar of water nor one dollar of chocolate milk
I am asking for one bottle
21:07
then bottles -= 1
Thus I would like one bottle stuffed with Monopoly money
well sure, I assume you want one unit of monopoly money
i didn't specify dollars of monopoly money, i just specified money
how large is the bottle
that's going to be harder to ship
@Ginger Have you heard of the ocean old man
21:08
that's a really long walk tho
Throw it in a river and it will drift to my location eventually
sounds like littering to me
best I can do is mail you the money
if we assume bottle radius is 5cm, bottle height 20cm and 1-dollar buck size to be 5cm wide, 2cm large and 1mm thick then you're gonna get about 200 dollars of monopoly money
maybe even more but that's it for me
maybe even 300
nah 600
ok so joao3.monopolyMoney.money -= 600
is this ok for Rydwolf Premium?
Rydwolf?
@RydwolfPrograms?
... anyway gimme some rust facts

1 hour later…
22:46
My prof requested me to write lecture notes about Rust few months ago, and this is one of the example codes:
fn main() {
    panic!("You should've not done that!");
    panic!("You've met with a terrible fate, haven't you?");
}
23:44
in case you've ever wondered what goes in in the Vyxal room:
that's all you need to know
23:59
I'm about to do a very bad thing
I'm going to open and read from files in a lazy evaluated context
Everyone knows that you don't perform io in a generator
Yet imma gon do it anyway 😎
