Considering making a "learn morse code" page. It would teach you a few letters at a time, and give you an accuracy score based on how good the timings for your dots and dashes and pauses were, and how many letters you got wrong
@RadvylfPrograms One tip then: Learning how to hear it at a low speed does not translate into a higher speed, and vice versa. It can be hard for people who learn it at a high speed to then understand it at a low speed, which creates a catch-22 when they can only listen to people who are fluent and can't listen to beginners, but also can't send anything fluently.
Yeah, I'll have an option thing for different speeds

When it comes to the most influential and most symbolic literature, some would say it's Shakespeare's plays and sonnets that meet the description. Others would say it's works such as Alice in Wonderland or Harry Potter. And some among us would even say that it's the research of programming giants like Iverson and Knuth.
But these authors and literature all pale in comparison to the one true work of art
This masterpiece encapsulates everything about society and truly inspires people to be their best selves.
Nothing can ever be written anymore. This book completes literature

F
Let me give you some advice, kid
The same thing happened to me, but I used brains to solve it
My parents were thinking of moving to the US, and after they realized that the pollution where we lived was making me get sick all the time, we moved here
After a little while, my new classmates also thought I was cringe, but I enacted my master plan and went to a magnet high school really far away from my home school after eighth grade
My classmates at high school also thought I was cringe, but unfortunately, I was unable to repeat my previous strategy and go to some random college that no one else from my school went to. I'm sure you can do better, though
I hope that helped. Like and subscribe for more bad life advice
magnet high school?
what tf is a magnet high school?
12:47
A magnet program's this thing that a bunch of nerds take a test to get into so they can get access to classes others can't take until their senior year and so they can pretend they're better than everyone else
Anyway, what I'm trying to say is this: When the going gets tough, you should get going
In the U.S. education system, magnet schools are public schools with specialized courses or curricula. "Magnet" refers to how the schools draw students from across the normal boundaries defined by authorities (usually school boards) as school zones that feed into certain schools. Attending them is voluntary. There are magnet schools at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. In the United States, where education is decentralized, some magnet schools are established by school districts and draw only from the district, while others are set up by state governments and may draw from multiple...
Weird thing is that the Wikipedia article says magnet schools were started to combat de facto segregation, but the demographics of the school I went to were very skewed
If you look at the school on Niche, it's probably ranked A+ for diversity
But within the school, there's quite a bit of de facto segregation
The area around the school is mainly Black and Hispanic, so you would expect that to be reflected in the school's demographics, and it is, as long as you don't look at the Magnet or CAP programs. In the Magnet, something like 60% of the students are Asian and most of the rest are white. In my grade, there were only a handful of Black and Hispanic kids
The CAP program isn't as skewed but I've heard it's mainly white

14:38
A pufferfish is a fish
oh
Yes. Jimmy John Jones is a pufferfish. But he did not eat a cheeseburger. He wanted to eat a cheeseburger.
Oh. Okay
And then Jeffery won the bet.
Okay.
14:40
Btw @lyxal What's OldSandboxPost's email? I need to send it an email
So then Jimmy John Jones was sad.
@user it's in the blog chat room, but I'll go find it for you
@user oh.

@lyxal And then Jeffery went to get Jimmy John Jones another cheeseburger.
Okay.
Oh huh it's just [email protected]

question: are there any variations to "who's joe?" that I should know of?
what's a variation
another way of saying it
I'm making a regex
specifically, can "joe" be replaced with something else?
well there's plenty of "what's <x>" 's
i.e. ligma, sawcon, etc
as in "joe mama" type jokes
i dont know any more "who" ones though
19:11
I'm trying to make a regex that can trigger a response of "joe mama"
@Ginger do literally all knock-knock jokes count?
lol
who's jo
jo king
I currently have /wh[aterony]{1,3}( i|')s joe\??/gi
Can y'all take the Joe conversation to the off-topic room, please?
it's on topic
I'm using regex
19:12
very cursed - whtoy's jo?
It's generating a lot of messages and distracting from the LYAL conversation, tho
slight upgrade: /w[oh][aterony]{1,3}(( i|')?s)? joe\??/gi
valid match: wontys joe
