Q: Anti-handwashing in the office

Nomu のむCOVID finally appears to be winding down, so I was hopeful that all of the political drama at our office would die down. Unfortunately, there is a new issue that has come up. The group that was very vocally anti-mask and anti-vaccine, has taken a new stance: anti-handwashing. Their arguments ar...

There is nothing you can do other than control your own behaviour. HR are not going to want to fight this fight. Maybe if they start rocking up nude (they can rely on their bodies temperature regulation system after all) HR may want to put a stop to their silliness.
What country? may be relevant/
@Sascha I am in the US
Company size? Is this the only office?
Medium size private company. My satellite office is the smallest of several.

How exactly is this an issue? Are these anti washing employees regularly touching you or your belongings?
@sf02, I apologize if I sound harsh but this behavior is exactly why we're still in a pandemic and how other illnesses spread. Yes, it's none of my business what they practice at home, but in a public setting where we share common doors and a ceiling, I'd rather not catch anything and certainly not spread them to my family.
I suppose urinating in their food and drinks would be going a bit far?
@StuartF And you can't piss on hospitality! I WON'T ALLOW IT!
...are you sure you're not being trolled? And/or that you're not trolling us? This sounds like a troll.

@Ertai87, I'm going to guess you are not in the US or are located somewhere with a high population of vaccinated people. I can count on my hand how many people are vaccinated in my entire office and those same people think someone else won the US presidential election.

This question is missing a clear goal. What are you trying to accomplish? Get them to wash their hands?
@coll Hell of a reference there.
@Erik, This seems unclear to you. I want to bring this up, but it's clearly an unpopular topic. As in my question I want to know how to bring this up without being dismissed immediately, as we see in these comments.
@Nomuのむ I know plenty of people who believe there were sketchy things that occurred in the last Presidential election and people who are unvaccinated. Those people nevertheless still have good hygiene. You're making a ridiculous leap of logic here and I feel like I'm being trolled. Nevertheless, I gave you the benefit of the doubt and answered the question in the extremely unlikely scenario that this is an honest situation. Note that you may be being honest with us, but your coworkers may be trolling you and you're not realizing that you're being trolled.
Is the company somehow enforcing hand washing? Why are these people taking a public stance instead of just not washing their hands? I assume most people not trained in food prep or medicine have filthy hands, including myself, and behave accordingly.
@ColleenV I suspect because their demands around wearing masks and getting vaccinated were met, and some bright spark decided that handwashing was the next anti-COVID recommendation that should be attacked.

@GregoryCurrie I would like to hear from the author. If there's no enforcement, I'm curious how this anti-hand washing group brings up the fact that they're proud they're filthy, complete with a list of arguments, in a typical workplace. The problem isn't the stance, it's the work environment that tolerates this sort of productivity-sucking manufactured outrage.
CNN : Today (April 27) - Dr. Fauci says "The US is out of the COVID Pandemic Phase". Here is the link: cnn.com/2022/04/27/health/fauci-covid-pandemic-phase/index.h‌tml
"Is there anything I can do?" - Yes. You could wear gloves or find a new employer. This isn't real.
Accidently throw a bucket of water on them as they exit the toilet?
