I think I've a relatively good strategy for quordle that doesn't need much thinking. I did 8 consecutive practice quordles and got 77X87877 where the X failed because I forgot that CORER is a word!
For the failed attempt, all cases can be handled in 9, so this strategy (STARE HOUND FILMY) takes 7.5 tries on average.
Does anyone see any way to improve the 3 words for such a strategy that just starts with 3 fixed words?
And in case anyone wants to check the list of allowed words/guesses for wordle, someone posted them on github: words, guesses. I suspect quordle uses the same lists.

@amWhy Ah I see. I find quordle interesting. The idea can also be applied to the original mastermind, yielding a game that seems much more challenging than the usual mastermind.
And then from a mathematical point of view, one wonders whether there are asymptotic results...
some kid was having a birthday party and his parents had rented some kind of electric 'train,' almost the size of two cars, and were driving it down a sidewalk next to the park. this caused a commotion among the kids in the park.
we've had chillier weather for about a week before this. highs in the 50s or low 60s and into the low 40s, sometimes 30s, at night. today is a break from that.
The bitter coldest days of winter here, are actually sunny. Snow is more prevalent in a warmer range, and when cloudy. Kind of weird but clouds can insulate the what is below it. The coldest is when it's night, and the skies are clear.
