i find it's usually possible to get one or two pretty easily but the last two can take the full nine.

I don't understand this: "4 of the 9 guesses have to be exactly right," ? Four out of nine have to use correctly all previously placed greens, and utilize yellows in places that one knows they don't belong?

yeah, it plays the same words on all four boards.

for all of them, assuming that you need all of them. it stops inputting if you solve a given board.

here's an example (from the 'practice' section, not today's):

sometimes when i play, i figure out what all the words are, but don't have enough remaining guesses to type them all in :D it's torture.

@leslie, I think I get the gist of it. More taxing, certainly, than Wordle!

I found myself tackling them upper left to upper right, lower left to lower right; but it certainly feels good to solve them all!

yeah, i was in a panic near the end. could have gotten the last one wrong, i hadn't ruled enough out.

I ruled a lot out, which led me to two uncommon letters, one not as uncommon, but one very uncommon.

After that, I decided to try MULCH, because of the H, and then it tricked me, so I took 2 tries to get the 2nd board, and another 2 to get the 1st. It feels like there's no way I could do better.

I think the main problem with HEART is that it's not as likely to get green letters as STARE.

Yesterday, shrew was one of the four words in quordle. Today, one of the words in quordle was vixen. Perhaps coincidental, but unless I see "studs" or "hunks" or pimps any time soon ... :(
