Proto-Indo-European transcription: <u̯, i̯> vs. <w, j> & <k̑> vs. <ḱ>, etc

Y-grec for i̯ is utter nonsense! Ystad, Ylide, etc... it is proper use of Y-grec!

Better use J for i̯ since it matches Jena, Jurgen, etc...
There are different conventions for PIE phonetic transcription, and they disagree with one of them, because J often occurs as “i” in some languages?
Never mind, I misunderstood, I thought that was the question, in the edit queue, not an answer…. ok.
