It's an awkward position to be in, but it's also the one that minimizes annoying tweets about the topic on either side of the argument, so I imagine people around me appreciate that more than I do.

Sometimes I think that for most practical purposes, talking about religion in terms of "is there a god" or "isn't there a god" (or "if there is a god who says it is yours") is kind of missing the point. It's more interesting to talk about the ethics and values that come bundled with a religion, and how those affect your lives.
