@Stiv thanks for the compliment, I like you puzzles as well!
I may have a second puzzle for this series. However, I think that the idea may have been thought of by someone else .... If not, I will enlist once more.

Hey Stiv, I hope I treated Ingrid with the respect she deserves.

i really like this extra rule, it makes the logic a lot less straightforward
Thanks Jafe, I was very pleased with how the puzzle came out, especially since I realized I messed it up pretty late in the game (but blessedly before publication :-)

Argh, now I really regret putting "The accepted answer to this question will be awarded..." into the header.

Would you like me to post my puzzle around midnight (i.e. in 4 hours, my current timezone is UTC+1) or tomorrow morning?
I think posting around midnight would give more people from other timezones a chance, but you can of course post whenever you like.

By the way, is there a reason why you award more reputation for questions posted on Sundays? Does this mean my puzzle has to be more difficult?
Doesn't have to be more difficult, I just thought it would be nice to have a higher bounty sometimes and sunday presented itself because every sunday a new candle is lit on an advent wreath
