Q: What could justify large amounts of troops that can move entirely by helicopter & organically have the means to do so?

OT-64 SKOTWhat could justify large amounts of troops that can move entirely by helicopter & organically have the means to do so? This nation has saudi levels of m o n e y (in proportion with their military's size). But having several divisions of airborne forces that can move themselves entirely by helicop...

Let's clarify - these troops are 100% infantry, they don't have any kind of mobile armor (except for helicopters)?
@Alexander They have a few things like ATVs, Motorcycles & light trucks. As well as some Wiesel like tracked weapons carriers. But they are mostly just there for recon & carrying things.
Many real world militaries have good number of paratroopers and even larger number of forces that are deployed by helicopters when needed (so money apparently of no objection here). The biggest question is why the troops in question are not bringing heavy weaponry with them.
Your questions seem to work around the general principle of "having (mostly) exactly one type of weapon". There is a reason why every modern military is a tightly interwoven mix of literally all kinds of weapons. There is no such thing as a "one weapon beats everything else".
@Alexander the wiesel like tracked weapons carriers & light trucks are to move around the heavier weapons. If they need more they can rely on other units to provide it
@Burki i don't know why you'd think that. None of have my questions have been about one specific thing replacing everything else. They have been about doing something new & weird that isn't done now alongside normal things.

It was just an impression i had. Sorry if i got that wrong.
"Doing something new & weird that isn't done now": airborne forces, and specifically air assault forces. If both America and Russia do it then it's not so new and so weird.
@AlexP neither of them have several divisions of units that can move themselves entirely by helicopter with only the helicopters the unit has
And neither of them is at war... But then, why would such an insignificant organizational detail be of any importance?
The ability to get EVERYTHING moved by helicopter makes it so that you can do maneuver at helicopter speeds the whole time rather than just the assault part

what is a "organic helicopter"?

"neither of them have several divisions of units that can move themselves entirely by helicopter" - Russia alone has 45,000 paratroopers on active duty. True, they are moved more often by planes rather than helicopters, but this can be adjusted.
@tuskiomi I was thinking of something like Inspector Gadget...
@Alexander Do those 45000 paratroopers have all their units able to move themselves by planes the unit has that aren't attached from a different place?
@OT-64 SKOT No, aviation currently reports to a different branch (Russian Air Force), although this is being changed so that aviation and paratroopers will become one organic unit.
@tuskiomi Organic means belonging to nobody but the unit in question. As in opposite to infantry unit being transported by a logistics or aviation unit. Think of "This is my helicopter. There are many like it, but this one is mine". Just like in business when you have organic growth that you do by your own means vs growth by acquiring other businesses.
@Agent_L I'm not sure... Why would that matter?

@tuskiomi You asked, I answered.
