@silph I speak three Romance languages, all of which have taken English terms and made them their own. I have never, repeat never heard, however, in everyday conversation in any of these languages, "loans" being pronounced using the original source language's sound system. Unless there is a special reason for it. And Québecois is no exception to what is essentially a fact.
