Q: Changing pants in office bathroom

RobertI commute to my office in my bike, and after cycling 40kms, my clothes will be soaked. I change vest and shirt, but pants and underwear will be soaked, which is uncomfortable. I would like to change my pants and underwear too. But the problem is, the only place where I could change is in the offi...

1) Do you have your own office? If so, can't you just lock the door for few minutes while changing? 2) If you don't have, does any manager in your workplace has private office with a door? If so, you can ask them to change your clothes in their office. (Only comments since original question clearly mention bathroom only, so this isn't answer to the question)
The office only has one small bathroom. There is no private bathroom and I’m an employee there. Yes I could lock the door. But as WeatherVane said, I would have to clean the bathroom first.
No, not talking about bathroom. I mean maybe you can change in the office itself, if there is office with a door you can close. :)
That would be perfect. But there is not :)
What type of workplace or condition do you work in where the bathroom is not clean... Long term I'd get that looked at...

This is a small office and others are fine, they just use it. I’m new, so I can’t complain. @Chris Schaller, there is no long term here. I am actively searching for a new job while gaining experience here. It’s unethical but I can’t stay here for long.
@Robert There isn't anything unethical about searching for your next job while working another, so long as you do the job that they're paying you to do.

Wear waterproof overtrousers while cycling? No need to change then - unless you're talking sweat rather than rain/mud. Or - stand on a towel, piece of cardboard.
Apart from the obvious stuff like getting waterproof overclothing, why can't you just get changed in the office? Are there no other cyclists? Why not just erect a screen in the office for cyclists to change in? Can't you just announce to the others "avert your eyes! the crown jewels are coming out and the spectacle is astounding!"? Also check the laws. Where I live the offices have to offer shower/changing for cyclists by law, or they get some sort of tax break, something like that.
@Tim it's almost certain to be sweat, or would be if riding 40km in waterproofs
@Frank in many places that's only the case over a certain number of employees, and this sounds like a small office (I'm lucky enough to have a shower here, and the option to change in the lab or office)
@Frank OP is in India, such things almost don't exist there. Also, the whole culture is very different, not sure about it but stuff like nudity at work, even justified for changing clothes quickly, is probably unheard of and not something OP can even consider.

@Shadow The Vaccinated Wizard, Exactly. Agree to every word you just said.
@Frank, I am the only one who cycle to office. Motor bikes are the usual mode around here. Not the flashy Harley Davidson but the one which is easily affordable.
My understanding of India, though I've only been once (@Frank) is that the approach I've used of changing near the sinks in the men's work toilets, with a towel round my waist if stripping right off, wouldn't be appropriate there; a cubicle would be required (assuming that sort of layout, rather than a single room with one toilet and a sink).
This may likely not be a viable idea, but no one has posted it yet. If you can afford it, an ebike might be a great solution. You still get some exercise, you will hardly sweat, and on top of that, your commute is faster. Then on your way back home, you could lower the assist level and get a proper exercise, because you won't mind sweating on the way home.
Do a google search for portable changing tent.
@Ela782 I am also thinking about getting an ebike but I can’t afford it right now. If I’m blessed, I will upgrade this Christmas.
Portable tent is also not a bad idea: Fully independent. That's a very good thinking. @CGCampbell
At one time I got permission from my manager to regularly use his office for changing cycling clothes. Some managers would feel that encouraging cycling it a good thing, for health and morale.

@Robert What about changing nearby, like a cafe, then walking the remainder?
@Robert All the best! :-)
