@JonasStein you do realise most sites, especially SF involve people with day jobs right?
and chat's intentionally meant as a sort of third place. Healthy chat rooms have quite a lot of off topic, but in context rooms.
and your explaination misses a good chunk of SF/TCR history

@JonasStein None of the people who voted to close your question is a moderator. If you think they're wrong, the constructive thing to do would be one of two things:
1. Edit it to clarify why it should be considered on-topic. This will place it in the review queue for reopening questions.
2. Post to meta.serverfault.com, so that other people, including moderators, can weigh in and possibly reopen it.
If I were to see that question in the reopen queue, at this point I would either skip that review or, if I found the edit convincing, vote to reopen. In the current circumstances I would not vote to keep it closed.
But again: the whole SE model is built upon community moderation, which is expressed in that five users with at least some experience of the site, as expressed in their reputation points, agree on putting a question on hold. Again, if you disagree, there are ways of getting more people to weigh in.
I know that several people who've come from other SE sites have missed the fact that SF is somewhat different, in that its topic is restricted to a reasonable business environment rather than "any type of computer that acts as any type of server", and have also been unhappy with having their questions put on hold. In many cases I've voted to move those questions to more appropriate sites, such as Unix & Linux.
Had I known of any SE site where your question would have been appropriate, I would likely have tagged it for moving instead.
However, if your response to five people agreeing that a question is off-topic is that the site is useless as a whole, then yes, you'll probably be happier staying on those SE sites where your questions will not be considered off-topic.

I offer 300 bounty for a solution here. It's more an advice for alternative technology than a "solution".

Q: Postfix won't transfer WordPress contact form emails to my Gmail account

JohnDoeaIn Ubuntu 16.04 VPS with LEMP in DigitalOcean I have a WordPress web site that has a contact form I created with Contact Form 7 (CF7). My problem I have a problem transferring emails from my WordPress contact form (CF7) to my email (Gmail). I must say, I'll humbly prefer a non-plugin solution....

@JohnDoea I don't think you need an alternative technology; I think there's something wrong with how the contact form is set up rather than with postfix itself. Check the web server logs.
