I'm interested in installing a wood privacy fence myself. I've watched a bunch of tutorials and feel pretty confident with the process except for one thing. Everything I've seen talks about squaring up the corners, however, my lot is not square. How do you do corners that are less than 90 degree...
To start a few questions. Is the fence all by hand or is the stockade fencing (with dogears) prefabricated in sections? What is the length? 6 foot? 8 foot?
I'm thinking you will need a post or two along that 'clipped corner' I suggested. This would make removable sections easier to fabricate.
You should be able to do something similar to those stringer hangers without a gap. I did something similar 20 odd years ago. I will give it some thought.
Is acquiring hardware easy enough for you? You mention 'village' and this American can only picture you are a hundred miles from any 'city' :)

If you dont know already, is there code on how far apart the posts need to be? And starting with that, can you guesstimate what my modification is? Thinking at least one post wpould still need to bisect the span from B to D
I think you would want at least one post. Depending on the length of the stringers used I cant imagine them being over 12'. 16' at the most. Depends what you use.
And price point might control just what your willing to pay for.
And with the removable section in mind. Code or not I dont know I would trust it to be replaced readily or in as good a quality.,
Which makes me think. If you like the idea of a removable section. Som sort of corner might be sturdier that a stright fence with a portable section. Or a gate.
I know this might seem like a lot all at once. My head is just going through the steps I think are important.
