@Cerberus Just for clarification, what do you mean by "Israeli land" there?
The area demarcated by the gray dotted line in that map is the West Bank, which is part of the state of Palestine, according to international law. So a lot of the walls are built inside Palestinian land: Palestinians are forcibly segregated from their occupiers inside their territory. That's maybe the most blatant part of the apartheid.
The other part is that, walls or no walls, most Palestinians are second citizens under a government they don't have a say in, since Israel controls its own territories, plus almost everything in the West Banks, and holds Gaza under a blockade: it's the sole sovereign state in the whole region of historical Palestine.

@Færd Why illegal? Has Israel signed any treaty forbidding the (secret) possession of nuclear weapons?
@Færd The walls are mostly more or less between the West Bank and Israel proper. But, yes, large stretches of wall are also between more occupied and less occupied areas within the West Bank.
Those are of course the worst.
So what I meant was, land under Israeli control.
