@Ryan yup...the problem is having everyone on the same page. Also, not really helping to support that article, SE pulled the plug on programmers.SE if I recall correctly

I do not understand. You keep saying we close too many questions, and are too harsh in our judgement of the 'too broad' and 'subjective' categories. Which is fine, it is discussions like that that keep the community alive and help us be objective. (As long as we stay respectful towards one another).
But then you come into chat, to practically _demand_ we close a question as too subjective and broad.

Hi @PieBie , If you you are talking about me, in no case have I asked for a question to be closed, neither this nor any other. I never request the closure of any question via chat or comments. I post this in a comment at the chat yesterday: "in any case I said the question should not be accepted"
09:22
@Danielillo so what do you mean with "not be accepted"? The question should be deleted? The question should be locked? The user must receive a stern talking-to?
Where I wrote "not be accepted"?
–in any case I said the question should not be accepted–
09:53
@Danielillo yes, but what does 'not be accepted' mean? There is no such concept on the SE network. We normally close questions we do not accept, but that is not what you want. So what is it you do want?
10:46
@PieBie I entered the chat to give my opinion about that question and its possible answers. Where have you read that I am asking (demanding) something about it?
I am doubting about the translation, in other words I have written - the question must be accepted - To me it's a valid question, which admits multiple answers, where the example of the exposed logo helps to specify it a bit, exactly what I wrote yesterday in the first paragraph of this chat when i've got in.

EBassal—The goal/problem I am writing an academic thesis in InDesign CC 2019 (14.0.2) on mac OS 10.14.6. There are A LOT of footnotes. I hence use the automatic footnotes of InDesign a lot.
