@Vincent Coils in this case are those round metal coils on top of a stove/oven that heat up. A flattop is when the coils are under a sheet of glass, which looks super cool...

(also easier to clean)

I have an Inkling which appears to be the same thing. It does not work with tablets. it works with standard paper.

Then you plug it into a computer to transfer drawings it has stored.

yes, we shall see - right now i have to get to the point where i trust the thingy to use the right size paper and that it saves to the pen so i can use it without mac or phone - which is kinda the point

Q: Tagging based on answers?

Id just want a clarification. Is the tagging supposed to reflect the question, only? Or the thread? Suppose thequestion is asking for software but all answers are about illustrator. And these answers are accepted. Can one then tag illustrator? Or does it become too leading to answerers?
