I should really sell my design services but I'm not corrupt enough. I mean the idea this guy is getting paid just pisses me off. I'd much rather sell my design consultancy experience to prevent other people from hiring shitty people like this
@AnujKaithwas ya, the procedure went well ;) Used my pocket knife to cut a hole and drain it then my hands and some child scissors to remove the excessive skin
so bad, and worse so not what we asked for. I gave him my design. My boss wanted him to take my work and basically finish it for me to take it off my plate. The guy was given a design!
In Photoshop I've taken Magic Wand as far as I can, I think.
Now I'm left with this grayish edge around the coffee saucer.
How do I remove it?
I've tried altering tolerance in Magic Wand but don't seem able to get it.
Any suggestions please?
trying to encourage.. atleast its a start but running into the question blasting downvotes would cause them to run.. atleast upvoting the little effort unlike the questions we get should be encouraged
I've played around a little with templating and did complete my own simple plugin at one point just to automate something I needed. It just doesn't really excite me.
I made my own framework.. and I use scripting and a process in Illustrator to help me knock one out quickly, but its the CPT that always takes the longest
maybe it would be better to have feeds for GD user blogs, or if nobody likes that idea then no feed at all except questions
I wish there was a better feed system, like if they popped up between the chat stars and user list and stayed there. The ability to star feed items would be cool too
I think its a good start to a possible question that may actually have some value if the OP can go into better detail.. you're always welcome to vote to close
What kind of effort is there supposed to be, its a simple question. How do you merge multiple objects so that I can apply a stoke to the newly formed object.
Who the F is being lazy here? There is no more to ask!!!
its not a simple question.. take your high mighty attidute back a min.. you really expect someone to help you without an example.. I assume you ask code questions on SO too?
then shut your mouth, go back, read my comment, make an edit, and then Ill remove my vote.. Poor questions are downvoted which is the purpose of the voting system. You want to keep calling names and acting rude
@MichaelJosephAubry I did the proper thing and tried to encourage you to show effort... if you want help then calm down, go back, show effort becuase no one can help you the way the question is.
not treating you as stupid.. Im treating you as someone that expects us to guess what they're trying to do and we have no clue how to help. Hence the reason it was marked as a duplicate and I told you under your question please review it that it would help you.
OK fine, I will go into further detail, which I have no problem with, but as this is free I figured people dont want to have to spend much time reading a question. They want to get to the point and that is why I try and keep my questions to a minimum.
You can vastly improve your question by adding images of what you're trying to do. And what's this list of steps? It's unclear to me if that's what you have already done or what
Im over it, and I just hope you understand I am not being lazy I just thought it was enough detail. I will add images and go into detail while trying to keep the question straight forward and easy to comprehend.
@MichaelJosephAubry - you share the same last name as a guy I know. Thought that was interesting. Anyways - select your shapes, hit union, apply your stroke, and RTFM.
Okay funny thing is I actually did this before I just completely forgot, like I said I dont use illustrator much I am mostly in sublime, but wow thats pretty crazy, if my memory was better this could have all been avoided!!!
The only question I see in there is "Is it a gangrun print job I'm looking for where X # of images are all placed on a larger printing sheet & then only printed X times"
so, "yes" would be the answer
but you can look up the definition to determine that, doesn't take an expert to answer it
side note: ending questions with a period instead of a question mark is such a major pet peeve of mine. Why do people do this. ;)
I'm skeptical of what HoloLens will actually be as a consumer product. MS has burned us before, "Project Natal" (eventually Kinect) had the same level of "tech demo" BS that got heavily downgraded
That and no GPS support. If you want to go running with it, you still need your phone with you to track your run. Making the watch useless except for HR monitor
I've met one person that actually loves his watch. A field tech in the security industry. Likes being able to see messages while working without having to fiddle with his phone
They don't think its innovative. They think it'll sell.
Well, I was one o fthose people that always stated I'd never get a cell phone. If people wanted to call me they could call the house or my office and leave a message. I caved on that a decade ago.. But I don't see me ever wearing a watch again except as jewelry for special occassions.
@Scott I don't know that I agree with that. I think the less technology gets in the way while accomplishing the same things the better. Something similar to the watch prevents having to take out a phone for some stuff (if it's done right) which is the right direction
I'll write a post soon on the technology in Ender's Game - the ultimate wearable
anything building towards that end goal is good in my book
@JohnB while that's definitely true now, I can see technology bettering in the future to allow more things along these lines
Well, I'm not glued to my phone either. I've fine with letting it sit in my pocket in spite of any noise or vibration coming from it. I'm not at the world's beck and call :)
