But they aren't joojaa. The internal objects are interpreted to CSS. Basically, the app is just doing the translation so the user doesn't have to. I think they (adobe) felt obligated to appear to have some sort of "export for html" because they removed it from everything and many users complained. Not everyone cares that the Adobe output is pretty much crap because any automation will never be as good as actually knowing the markup.

They did do a decent job with the CSS interpretation and were very open to user suggestions. I just think it was an area of development driven by marketing, not developers. There are so many areas in Illustrator that can and should be improved before adding CSS output in my opinion

Truth is, Adobe is out of ideas. That's why they are now stealing ideas for Illustrator from AstuteGraphics plug ins and building strikingly similar features in AI -- even though users have asked Adobe for the features for at least 20 years. Astute listened -- Adobe is just now starting to because they don't know what else to do.

@Joojaa they do.. then ignore them because marketing and sales have determined gaining new customers is far, far, more important the fixing issues for existing customers. Adobe knows that once you're locked in, you're locked in. They aren't overly concerned with customer retention.

So they can only loose with this strategy... those that use other tools have a reason to do so and it ain css

@Scott ya I dont see it of much use unless I was to be lazy and not have to write the font family, font-size, color in hex or RGB

but then I've never tested it with both a hex or rgb value
