Yeah after reading some more of that book I'm actually concerned for the author

I like it when there are funny little asides and all that, but this is a whole 'nother level

I feel like I'm reading a tragicomedy about a guy who falls in love and nearly gets married, but something goes wrong and he loses all purpose in life, and when he's at his lowest, he discovers Ruby and it keeps him going for a few years, but then he finishes the book and sinks back into darkness

@user I take that back, Chapter 5 is about some fictional (?) guy who tried to bury himself alive, electrocuted his niece, and dynamited a retirement home
