Can I create volume using EaseUS?

@dmmedia Yes, and blanking the drive with a new partition table is also an option. HOWEVER, the drive contains an OS (Windows) and possibly personal data the OP may NOT want to loose and to use the linked method they still would need to be able to create a new (extended) partition and they can't.

@Softunes You can't create any additional volume/partition in any MBR drive where you have already 4 primary partitions, period.

@Softunes UEFI has been the default for 10 or so years now. You either have an old computer that still uses BIOS or your UEFI emulates BIOS compatibility and Windows is installed as if it was a BIOS machine.

@Softunes Again, it's a MBR limitation, no third-party tools can overcome it. And your Windows version is irrelevant. Windows 10 can be installed in BIOS mode in BIOS machines or Legacy/BIOS mode in new UEFI machines with Legacy support. The question is why did you started by installing Windows the old way when you didn't have to and shouldn't really do? That is exactly where your problems start: Windows properly installed in UEFI mode would have to in GPT (Linux has no such requirements) which automatically wouldn't have any limitation in the number of partitions.

@Softunes Same thing. You need to understand now what you didn't when you started installing OSes. You need to know about the different modes and WHY UEFI/GPT is preferred for any computer from 10 or so years ago, especially when dual-booting. You started with the wrong foot (installing Windows in Legacy mode) then the next OS (Linux) had to be installed in the same mode and now you risk an unbootable system should you insist in messing with partitions in this drive.

@Softunes You already seem to have 4 Primary Partitions. You need to convert one of them into Logical on Extended, before you can add more Logical partitions to Extended. I am not sure if EasyUS is capable of doing that, but you can give it a try. If you find no software capable of it, you could try moving out all data from one of the partitions, delete it and create Extended partition on its place. Then create needed logical volumes and move your data back to one of the logical volumes.

@Softunes great. You have an extended partition already. Now you should move your partitions to shift unallocated space near that extended partition. Then resize extended to that unallocated space. Now you will have space in your extended partition to create additional logic volume

@dmmedia I didn't understand how to do it... I just understood that I have to shift unallocated space to extended partition. But, how can I shift it? I think I have to remove extended partition first. Than, I have to extend unallocated space and extended partition in one. If I do that I will lose my data...! Isn't there way to do it without losing datas?

@Softunes Such operations have an high risk of loosing data AND make the whole system unbootable. Do you have backups?

@Softunes move other partitions to the left and unallocated space will automatically shift to the right. You cannot shift the unallocated space itself, but you can move existing parttions there. Imagine unallocated space is an empty tabletop and partitions are boxes on top of it. You can move boxes to the left or to the right and space between them will automagically shift in opposite direction.

@dmmedia You're dealing with a person lacking the fundamental understanding of what they're doing. On top of it they want to install another (barely know) Linux OS. This is very risky. Will YOU take the responsibility when they can't boot ANYTHING?

@dmmedia Just standard sugar coated ones, I'm afraid :) But the movie is moving too slow. The OP is using GParted (which is good, EasusUS would likely break the dual-boot) so it's with right-clcik in the ext partition > Resize/move ;)

@Softunes OK, then don't use EaseUS if it doesn't work with extended partitions. Try GParted instead. The flow should be the similar, but GParted definitely shows extended partitions. DO NOT resize ext4 or any other than extended partitions.
