anyone pick up any pilot goodies over Black Friday?

I picked up a PJ2 radio (didn't need nav functionality because I already have a Sentry that will work in power outage and work as a non-certified backup that's far better than any of the navcom handhelds), a flashlight and a headlight with red/white switches and multiple brightnesses, as well as a set of the Saitek panel simulation gear (the nav/com, autopilot/transponder and switchbank/landing gear modules)

gave up on getting my own BATD after pricing out the break even point vs using my local flight school's AATD for IFR currency. Worked out that doing a much cheaper home setup for non-certified, but still relatively accurate sim was a far better value than a personal BATD.

especially since sporty's had a bunch of decent sales

also, finally got around to doing the dc sfra training. Seems pretty straightforward
