@TomMcW That doesn't really solve the problem of people having different ideas for the answer. If someone edits a particular year into the answer for one of the parts, there's no way for the community to decide if that's better than what was there before.

@DanHulme Seems like we've had answers like that. People with edit privilege can see what was there before. No biggie. Just wondering if there was a way. It's an interesting question. It's just too broad to handle in the usual way.
@RoryAlsop Interesting. They didn't mention where they were going to source the motor, or the batteries. I'm curious how much planning they've put into that. Almost seems like one of those things that sounds great in a public announcement, but doesn't turn out to be so viable in reality. Would be nice if they can do it, though.

@TomMcW yes. They are always looking for solutions to the problems faced in the Highlands and Islands, and generally up for supporting innovation, so if there is a reasonable proposal I can see them being a pilot (sorry) project

@RoryAlsop 53 seconds is a pretty short flight! They should use a glider and winch launch it!

9:10 PM
@TomMcW or a bridge :-)
That was the flight my dad held the world record for for many years, at 56 seconds. Not bad for a scheduled 2 minute flight

9:22 PM
@RoryAlsop How often does the flight run?

@TomMcW I think it's once a day in the summer (and twice on Saturdays)
