@AncientSwordRage This is true. We had one game where we found a dead Space Marine. It was another ultimate Catch 22 - We have retrieved and (would have) returned a Gene Seed, but in doing so, condemned ourselves to death for having trespassed on a blacksite.
For chat discussion - Is the age-systemstunt overlap with fate and it's flavours fixable? I banged on about this before, but I'm still looking for questions on how different systems handle <thing> from fate and these are getting in the way
Separately for BESW and Glazius (not gunna ping right now) but I think what I want out of my hypothetical FATE Character is covered by Atomic Robo's Mega Stunts, specifically:
> Absolute Capability. Megas can let you impose your will almost unilaterally. An opposed overcome using your prodigious strength, peerless insight, or uncanny stealth will always be treated as a normal success, unless you're up against another Absolute.
I'm envisioning a draw back where going to strong on the mega stunt puts Fin into a trance where she's vulnerable physically

I want to add some extra skills to D&D 5e but can't figure out how to do it fairly in terms of awarding proficiency.
How do I add additional homebrew skills to D&D 5e?
Why I want to add skills
I'm currently running a homebrew campaign where exploration and wilderness travel are a major com...
There's (at the moment of this writing) about 29 questions that mention "DND next", are tagged dnd-5e and not tagged dnd-next-playtest.
Some of these questions need to be retagged for sure, and apparently, such an initiative has started as old questions have had their tags swapped in the last few...
Playtest material presents certain challenges that official releases do not. Even if a next-gen question concerns material unchanged from the playtest, it is not the same question as the playtest question.

Ergo, there should be no merging of questions about playtest material into the next gen tag.
Hi! I just dropped this question: https://rpg.stackexchange.com/questions/201253/adventures-for-two-gms-playing-simultaniously-two-parties and apparently it is a shopping question. But maybe someone here can help me? I would really like to read into adventures written for such a scenario.
@AncientSwordRage Starboard is best for that, but it is by no means not usable for things that are either liked or for folks want people to see for Reasons.
Please don't unstar things. We can un-pin things when time seems up, but I don't like the idea of unstarring things that aren't problematic.
We can absolutely prune, but we should be careful and do so when necessary if there's an issue.
@NautArch the board was filling up with stuff that didn't strictly need to be stared (didn't need to be around for long), and the star board filling up with that is something I considered a problem, but I can leave for longer next time
the stuff that's still on the board has been there for days, you're right. But replies to just one person don't need to be stared for very long, if at all
i have to say that I am not at all comfortable saying a star to 'one person' doesn't deserve a star. I don't think it's really necessary to go down this hole further, as I do acknowledge a need to prune when needed, but I really don't think unstarring these was something that needed to get done. Especially when they weren't problematic or creating real issues beyond just being starred.
@linksassin I’m not worried about jack of all trades at all. It’s supposed to give you half proficiency on all non selected skills, a larger skill selection doesn’t move the needle for me. It’s still bards get half for everything else.
