@DavidCoffron Yeah that was a misclick. I don't even remember how I managed it either (talent :P). I just pinged the mods over there and had it sent back over.
@Rubiksmoose No, it's good. Manager A (Who is a 1st degree in the same system I'm in) let me know about a position he has coming up. I'm about 35% qualified for it. Manager B has a qualified person for that job, who would then need a replacement that I am qualified to be. I think they are discussing the feasibility of it, and how to get around the hiring freeze to accomplish it.
I'd love the position that I'm not as qualified for, because it would be a significant pay bump, but at the same time I'd be a large stumbling block for a long time.
And it helps also that Manager B and I are friends, and I've been training to support her group for a month or two already.

During a discussion I had with @jgn based on the question discussing rolling twice on an investigation check, I realized we were operating with entirely different ideas of how dice rolls actually function inside of the narrative of the game.
