Good! After @doppelgreener told me I should really get a new phone – My Samsung GT-S5830i is probably some 6 years old now (which I don't really care about), and the Android 2 on it is insecure as hell (which I do care about) – I'm now procrastinating preparing a course I'll give in a few moths by looking for sustainable smartphones. And finding none.

ssomething i'm coming to value a lot in smartphones: battery life. big 5" screens are nice, but smaller 4" screens work too and draw much less battery life.

Oh yes! Last bit of electronics I bought was a tablet. The decision there was something like “Sort by battery life, look wheter the top-rated ones look decent”.

Like, if there were more than 0 phones coming into my focus right now (TCO-certified, Fairphone, or advertised as “sustainable” for other reasons) I'd probably do the same here. But there are apparently no TCO-certified smartphones at the moment, Fairphone 2 is pre-orderable for September, and all other sites posting about green/fair/sustainable/ethical phones are from 2013 or older.
