> The discovery of these cases led to an examination of other rural wells in the region, a large number of which were found to have elevated fluoride levels with concentrations up to 8.8 mg l–1. Grafe and Dominok (1978) reported skeletal fluorosis in an 80-year-old man, whose drinking-water was contaminated by the effluent from a local fluoride plant.
@OliverSalzburg That would freak out religious people and panic would start, stock market would spike, consumerism would spike etc. This is something corporations, power elite and illuminati do not want to happen.
@Leathe That's right and this will make me more productive.
@JourneymanGeek When plugged my portable small speaker into tablet, the sound was weak. Tried to raise volume on max on tablet but it helped a little. It seems I need amplifier. Would yours from DX fit?
@OliverSalzburg Since NSA is eavesdropping, they use keyword based detection. Since I typed now word terrorist, this could trigger manual check by their agents.
@OliverSalzburg Yeah it is just something that separates you from the rest knowledge-wise. It is something that is not considered by most as normal making you different from the rest. Similar with schizophreniacs, they see what most don't making them different.
Wow. I just wanted to cancel a subscription for some "thing" and found a subscription cancellation service online. You just put in all the details and they generate the form for you. And the form already has an auto-generated signature on it. Looks better than my real signature
There are those who tattoe themselves and if you want to be considered what si "normal" by them, you must tattooe yourself. Otherwise you are looked upon as not normal.
@OliverSalzburg How do they know your signature? Or this signature is not yours? Who's then?
@Boris_yo What's the difference? It's not like they have another signature of mine to compare it against. And if they had, it wouldn't match at all
@Boris_yo Well, you can just print it out and mail it. But, yes, they offer a fax service which does exactly what you describe. I've used that, cost 1.50€
@OliverSalzburg What if you form fails to send? Do they guarantee 100% delivery nevertheless? What if your form reaches destination but service people will "lose it". Does fax service allow repeated submissions?
Wow, my girlfriend set up a dinner at a local restaurant on Tuesday. She asked me yesterday if I could make reservation for it (because that didn't seem to be important enough to do, I guess). So I tried to make reservations today and the restaurant is closed. Forever. :D
I just encountered a review audit (i.e, an "attention test") question in the close votes review queue for the first time. That is, it was a question that did not deserve any close votes that had been placed there to make sure I, the reviewer, was actually paying attention to what I was doing. Any...
A friend and I were driving back from Spokane at 3 AM. We saw a cop several miles ahead with only a flashing blue light. We thought he had someone pulled over, but then he starts speeding down the highway towards us. Then the light flew across a field and two seconds later was miles and miles behind us. O_o Scared the hell out of me.
Probably just a drone test though. (There's a nearby airforce test thingy I think...)
@Bob Well, when your boss is on the phone complaining about printers, and the tech support guy hops on your computer to compare settings, you'd think you would mention the huge fricking pile of paper that just come out, but whatever...
