We've gone on a bit of a spree in acquiring new hardware recently. We just bought a Lenovo 14-inch IdeaPad 2-in-1, and both my parents got new jobs so three new work machines: a 13-inch HP EliteBook, a 15-inch HP EliteBook running Linux, and an old 16-inch MacBook Pro.
The middle one of the above came with a blank storage drive; the employee is expected to install a copy of Linux and all the required applications themselves
And yes, my new Surface Go 3 just came in. Most of its complaints in the tech press are about it being too slow for workstation tasks, but that's not what I really use it for. It is, however, faster than any of my refurbished older machines from 2009 and earlier and I'm used to using those
My OG Surface came in handy once when I was traveling on an ultra-budget airline that had really tiny tray tables, way too small to fit a laptop, but they fit that just fine
