Man
there's this domain that I've been wanting for months
It became available day before yesterday, and someone snatched it up yesterday before I could
shit shit shit shit
argh man
shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit
That's unfortunate
But you've saved yourself some money
@bertieb yeah well
@bertieb $2 lol
and some pain in a year's time when the actual renewal price kicks in
It's ok
I gotta learn to deal with setbacks. This is minor. No biggie.
In other news
A commendable attitude
15:22
I now own rahul.technology as well as rahul.tech
@bertieb :)
15:41
hmmmmmmmmmmmm yay consistency
16:03
is this your first time using win10? ;)
16:16
Is that meant to be a Microsoft flag?
Oh man, stuff on AliExpress is cheap
But that delivery time
China, y u so far away
Looking to buy replacement speaker foam rings
As the ones I made using a sheet of foam didn't work so good
16:36
So I host and use findip.win to quickly find IPV4 addresses
But renewal cost is $28 which is not something I'm willing to spend rn
So it'll probably be replaced by ipv4.rad.blue and ipv6.rad.blue
Seems like there's a million and one of these for v4 and v6
prettyre sure others have been mentioned in here
Point me if it is irrelevant. My keyboard cursor is just moving automatically to left. I have written this by pressing the right arrow key to stop that. What to do?
is there a reason you want to host one?
(out of curiosity)
@AjayMishra Try unplugging / another keyboard and see if it still occurs
16:56
Oh, sorry. That was laptop's keyboard, not just keyboard, sorry for the ambiguity. I am using laptop.
17:08
@AjayMishra Clean your keyboard. There is probably some detritus under your left arrow key.
I use one of these:
17:56
@bertieb I needed one that echos nothing except the IP, since I was using it within scripts
There's ifconfig.me/ip that does exactly that, but I didn't know about it until after setting up my own
18:27
checkip.dynds.org's is pretty much that
but yeah, fair enough :P

1 hour later…
19:38
@rahuldottech learn to parse output? :/
tho surely php has a $host_ip or something you can just echo out?
20:03
anyway
learning how NSX loadbalancers work \o/
plus earning brownie points from work while being bored :d

@bwDraco - You remember that computer problem I had 45 days ago? Turned out the socket was damaged, the shipping of the motherboard was odd (involves sitting in a warehouse in a city hammered by a hurricane for 3 weeks. Manufacture RMA'ed the board without any charge (so it must have been covered or otherwise defective).
While I would recommend MSI products, their RMA process needs some work, their tracking system sucks.
It showed that it "had arrived" for 3 weeks until it was shipped back to me
23:53
@rahuldottech what is?
Os
