You do realize why I made the above example, right? It's nice that you're a nice person and have good intentions but people have different backgrounds. Not everyone is going to assume a harmless word in addition, as stupid as it might be, playing the guessing game clarifying in a separate line makes it more likely to assume your original intend was to post something bad.

If you have such a precedence with that mod did you try to talk with him about it? If it was long ago he might also simply have forgotten about it.
